At our recent London discussion evening, a survey of 50 360° Club members revealed that more than 80% are looking to aggressively expand in 2016/17.  Rapid growth and aggressive expansion are a common goal within our members for the obvious rewards that they bring. But with rapid growth a priority, how can you ensure you’ve got the right people to make this expansion a sustainable reality?

During periods of rapid growth, it can be tempting to hire quickly. You have business critical needs that are going unmet and any pair of hands are better than none. But, as the leader of a fast-growth business, you’ve probably been trapped by this desperation before. You’ve hired someone quickly, invested valuable resources into training them and because of a lack of cultural or job fit, you’re at risk of losing them to another company. And, you’re not alone. More than a third of businesses according to official LinkedIn research say that employee retention is a top priority for them over the next 12 months.

So, how are market leaders attracting and retaining top talent to stay ahead of their competitors through periods of rapid growth?
